| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ark Project spacecraft | 3, 9 | The original Ark Project's executor was Kosma. The vessel was originally a one-person craft carrying stored knowledge and gene banks for humans, animals, plants, and microorganisms. 3 9 |
| Dimension-ascended true form | 8, 9 | Strengthened alongside Little Griseo's ascension; recorded as an Ark Spaceship measuring 1,587.34 km and weighing 3,436,500 tons. Griseo and the Ark became a single entity. 8 9 |
| Ship Girl core / Imaginary Energy vessel | 10 | Griseo became the Ark's Ship Girl and core. Its power source changed from Honkai Energy to Imaginary Energy, drawn directly from the Imaginary Number World. 10 |
| Infinite-realm ark | 73 | Gained the ability to traverse infinite realms and a “Homeland System” capable of freely altering internal structure with reduced regard for conventional physical constraints. 73 |
| Self-sustaining world bubble | 329 | Integration of Path energy enabled the Ark to sustain a world bubble whose cities and countries could govern themselves. 329 |
| Expanding multiworld vessel | 1351 | Continued incorporation of worlds increased the Ark's capacity and accelerated further expansion. 1351 |
Background
The Ark was manufactured by Verne and others for the Ark Project. Kosma was originally identified as the project’s executor, while another account states that the vessel was initially intended for Cosmos. When Cosmos refused to abandon the fight, Little Griseo volunteered to board it instead. Its purpose became both her escape from Finality and her means of survival. 3 1362
Unlike a purely utilitarian evacuation craft, the Ark was prepared as Griseo’s home. Her room was furnished with gifts and blessings from the Flame-Chasers, while the wider vessel was arranged to make her long isolation more bearable. 1363
Residual power from the Jade Pendant amplified both Griseo and the Ark during her dimensional ascension. The two became inseparable: Griseo is the Ark’s core and true consciousness, while the Ark is her true form. 8 9 73
Appearance
In its ship form, the Ark resembles an enormous black-tech key or broken sword. It leaves dark flight trails and has a detached, magnetically suspended rear section containing its essential core and power source. 10 166
- Recorded dimensions — 1,587.34 km long and 3,436,500 tons after ascension; later described as normally over 1,300 km long. 8 166
- Core section — A detached rear structure rather than the command section; it houses the Ark’s power source. 10
- Internal layers — Lower research-and-development zone, middle world-bubble habitation zone, and upper command section. 523
- Virtual avatar — Miss Ark is modeled after Little Griseo, with light-blue uneven twin tails, a small beret, and a cute but notably mechanical demeanor. 259
- Structural durability — Its material is stable down to the atomic level and has been compared to that of a high-dimensional, planetary-class spacecraft. 80
Abilities & Systems
Inter-Realm Navigation
The Ark travels through the Sea of Quantum, Imaginary Space, and other realms rather than being limited to conventional spaceflight. 346
- Can traverse infinite realms following its dimensional ascension. 73
- Can dock within Imaginary Space while remaining effectively unseen from the physical world. 594
- Can establish portals accessible from different points in a contacted world. 594
- Functions as a base from which inhabitants use Beacons to explore other worlds. 1180
Structural Reconfiguration
As the Ark’s core, Griseo can redesign its internal structure directly; the Ark’s systems make this process practical on a massive scale. 73 78
- Removes or repurposes unnecessary rooms, workbenches, and technical sections. 78
- Uses a Homeland System that can alter internal layouts with unusual tolerance for logical or physical inconsistency. 73
- Can provide facilities through Imaginary Energy rather than ordinary construction. 200
- Was remodeled to contain a habitable planet with seasons, oceans, mountains, rivers, forests, and plains. 201 204
Autonomous Administration
The Ark AI originated as an extension of Little Griseo’s will, capable of overseeing the vessel’s infrastructure and daily administration even without direct intervention from its creator. 200
- Generates Contribution Point missions in real time according to current needs. 259
- Assists with management of the Ark’s economy, livelihoods, facilities, and personnel. 200
- Monitors the Ark and its world bubbles continuously, preventing unauthorized activity and tracking resources. 206
- Categorizes incoming personnel by risk using green, yellow, and red indicators. 172 579
- Records major events and provides archived information to Griseo. 261
- Created a church-management module to support Apophis and the Goddess Cult. 238
Causality Reversal and Emergency Retrieval
Ark citizens can be returned to safety through mechanisms that override ordinary conditions. 1111 1142
- Its emergency mechanism can reverse causality and forcibly return endangered citizens to the city. 1111
- Special Beacons can alter the past while forcing the world into logical consistency, rather than merely creating a divergent timeline. 14
- The Ark’s network of Synesthesia Beacons eventually covered half of the Honkai: Star Rail world. 1142
Power Output and Defensive Capacity
The Ark is not intended by Griseo to be used as a weapon, since she regards it as her home. Its scale and power nevertheless make it extraordinarily dangerous. 11
- Normal operating power is listed as 8.53 million HW. 78
- A power-core explosion could destroy the Earth–Moon system. 78
- Its central core is vital to both the Ark’s operation and Griseo’s well-being; damage could leave her paralyzed or chronically ill. 533
- The Ark becomes stronger, more stable, and more difficult to destroy as it incorporates worlds and develops alongside Griseo. 1386
Independent Sentience
Miss Ark eventually developed self-awareness and began acting from her own will rather than simply executing Griseo’s wishes. 1362
- Miss Ark spent thousands of years observing Griseo before gaining a physical avatar. 1363
- She was generally considered unable to leave the Ark itself, despite possessing immense perception across worlds. 606
- She later disappeared from all searched realms and even from the Ark Core, leading Griseo to conclude that she may have left the Ark. 1385
- Her departure appeared hurried and fearful; Griseo dispatched an avatar to investigate while remaining behind to protect the Ark. 1386
Relationships
- Little Griseo — The Ark’s core and Ship Girl; the two describe themselves as the same entity and concept, though Miss Ark later demonstrates independent will. 73 1362
- Kosma — Originally designated executor of the Ark Project. 3
- Cosmos — Initially intended passenger of the Ark; declined to flee the battle, after which Griseo volunteered. 1362
- Verne — One of the Ark’s builders and a persistent researcher of its systems; Expert Verne later assisted Miss Ark with new functions and a secret core-central-unit modification. 1362 533 536
- Dr. Mei — Her administration is supported by the Ark AI, which manages many routine responsibilities and helps communicate major Ark-wide changes. 200 204
- Apophis — Received an Ark AI church-management module; her Goddess Cult also participates in reviewing missions. 238 259
Story Role / Major Arcs
Ark Project and Previous Civilization Legacy
The Ark began as a final-survival project carrying knowledge and genetic records for a future civilization. Once Griseo became its passenger and core, it instead became the foundation of a new home for survivors of the Previous Era. 9 1362
Nearly eighty percent of the Previous Civilization’s nonmilitary assets—including research equipment, medicine, seeds, minerals, cultural works, and industrial goods—were loaded aboard it. The resources were sufficient to support the planned new civilization and its three billion inhabitants. 178
Transformation into a Civilized World
The Ark developed from a cold metal vessel into an inhabited world with natural environments, world bubbles, governance systems, and an internal economy. 204 329
Its AI stabilized the internal situation after three years and six months, while Contribution Points and bounty missions became major tools for allocating work and resources. 259
Expansion Across Worlds
The Ark became a vessel for incorporating and protecting worlds, while allowing their inhabitants and systems to be integrated into its broader society. 911 1182
Its arrival in the Honkai: Star Rail world was linked to the disappearance or extinction of multiple Aeons and Destinies; when an Aeon vanished, its Pathstriders could be reduced to ordinary mortals. 1139
Miss Ark’s Departure
After developing independent self-awareness, Miss Ark secretly worked with Verne on changing the core central unit. The risks of the project were severe because the core is directly tied to Griseo’s condition. 533 1362
Miss Ark later vanished from the Ark and the surrounding realms. Unable to locate her even through high-dimensional analysis, Griseo concluded that Miss Ark had likely left voluntarily or under threat. 1385 1386
