The Qingtian Demon Emperor tried to hold it back with the Heavenly Demon Pearl, to no avail. The Stone slowed only slightly before driving the pearl down toward Heavenly Demon City.

The ground caved in where the Black Stone fell. A terrifying storm of energy erupted, tearing apart the surrounding space. Even the powerful Formation Runes protecting Heavenly Demon City's ground could not withstand the Superstorm unleashed by the stone's fall. Everything in the city was destroyed. Space shattered, Chaos Matter devoured all in its path, and even the Demon Emperors were left dizzy and reeling.
The Qingtian Demon Emperor had forced the Heavenly Demon Pearl to obey him. Now that the Black Stone had smashed it into the depths of the earth, the backlash struck him. His body shuddered, his face flushed, and a trace of blood seeped from the corner of his mouth.
"You're courting death!"
The Qingtian Demon Emperor glared at Fang Chen and turned into a streak of light, appearing before him. He reached into the void, and an enormous black hand formed and lunged for Fang Chen.
Fang Chen's gaze sharpened. He swung the Floating Immortal Sword at once, shattering the black hand.
The next moment, Fang Chen summoned the Heaven Mending Goddess Manifestation and retrieved the Black Stone from the ground.
The pillar that had bound Quasi-Emperor Huo Li rose as well.
