Each chain radiated a terrifying aura that could freeze the Great Dao and imprison souls. They wove together into an airtight, three-dimensional cage, intent on locking Fang Chen and the Sword Intent around him in ice.

Fang Chen let out a long cry, and the Floating Immortal Sword rang out in his hand.
He stopped pursuing the ultimate Eleventh Turn and drove his fused Sword Intent to its limit. His body spun rapidly, sword light blooming like a lotus.

Where the sword light passed, chains snapped inch by inch into ice shards. But they regenerated at once, thicker and colder than before, surging forward without end.
Fang Chen seemed trapped in a shrinking storm of silver metal. For every thousand chains he severed, more powerful ones wound around him, severely restricting his movement and the sweep of his sword.
