But with every clash, the Floating Immortal Sword devoured a trace of the Law Fragments the Void Beast had swallowed.
The sword refined those fragments into pure energy and fed it back to Fang Chen.

The Golden Roc Demon Emperor and the others grew excited as they watched the Floating Immortal Battle Array Dharma Form fight the Void Beast.
Fang Chen's aura slowly rose throughout the battle.
The Void Beast's aura, however, slowly waned. At last, it felt fear.
It stopped fighting Fang Chen. With a flicker, it became a streak of black light and fled into the distance.
"Trying to run?"
Fang Chen snorted. The Dharma Form took a step, and a Space Rift opened beneath its feet.
The next instant, it appeared before the Void Beast, and the Floating Immortal Sword cleaved down at its head.
The Void Beast had nowhere to dodge.
It opened its enormous maw and blasted out a Gray-White breath.
Countless Law Fragments it had devoured filled that breath. Each was as sharp as a blade, capable of tearing an Immortal Emperor to pieces.
Fang Chen neither dodged nor retreated.
The Chaos Vortex on the Floating Immortal Sword spun furiously, devouring the breath.
The Sword Light split the blast in two, sending it howling past either side of the Dharma Form.
Without slowing, the Sword Light struck the Void Beast's head.

A huge gash opened across the Void Beast's head, and Gray-White mist poured from the wound.
