At a moment just before the third day ended, the Floating Immortal Sword tore another fragment of energy from the Undying God King's Scale Armor.
This time, Fang Chen did not channel the energy into his cycle as he had before. Instead, he wrapped it in an exceptionally fine layer of Eight-Element Fusion power, like a thin membrane enclosing a drop of water.
Then he tried to draw that membrane into his cycle.
To his surprise, it worked.
The enclosed Cycle Force flowed through the cycle with its container, like liquid sealed inside a transparent vessel.
It still had not truly merged with the Eight Origins, but it no longer clashed with them. It was like a guest invited to a banquet: not yet one with the hosts, but no longer causing chaos and commotion.
A glimmer of understanding flashed through Fang Chen's eyes.
He had found a way.
He began treating every fragment of Cycle Force he devoured the same way, wrapping each in Eight-Element Fusion power, as though sealing it inside a thin cocoon.
The enclosed Cycle Force remained separate within his cycle, no longer causing conflict or rejection.
But although this method resolved the conflict inside him, it made Fang Chen realize something else.
Once the battle ended, he would need to find a way to truly merge the Cycle Force with the Eight Origins. Otherwise, it would remain no more than droplets wrapped in membranes, never truly becoming part of his power.
Yet just as he finished dealing with the latest mass of Cycle Force, his body jolted.
An unprecedented sensation surged from deep within him, like scalding magma churning beneath a dormant volcano, ready to erupt.
He sensed the immense Cycle Force he had devoured and transformed resonating, in an extraordinarily subtle way, with one
