Joining Forces (Part Two)

Hearing their conversation, Kisame retreated to the side of Qi Shuang's clone and quietly confirmed, "We're really going to work with him and deal with the 'Six Paths of Pain' together?"

"Of course. Do you think I was joking?" Qi Shuang's clone shot him a look.

"But didn't you tell me before that the 'Six Paths of Pain' were invincible, and that I should run for my life if I encountered them?" Kisame asked, his eyes wide.

"Things are different now. Do you understand?" Qi Shuang's clone said, looking at him.

"I don't!" Kisame shook his head without hesitation.

Qi Shuang's clone scratched his head and explained helplessly, "Although the 'Six Paths of Pain' are very powerful, they aren't capable of instantly killing us and leaving us completely powerless to resist."

"Besides, I never said we would defeat him head-on and then kill him."

"Then what do you plan to do?" Kisame asked curiously.

Qi Shuang's clone looked at him, then at Obito, and continued, "When the time comes, you will hold off his six Paths in the open and draw his attention, while Obito and I sneak around behind him and ambush his main body, catching him off guard."

Obito nodded when he heard this and said to Kisame, "Your abilities can reach their fullest potential on this sea. Holding off the six Paths for a while shouldn't be a problem."

"Then, with my stealth abilities and this guy's restraining abilities, ambushing and killing Nagato should be easy."

As he spoke, he gave Qi Shuang's clone a meaningful glance.

Originally, he had been troubled over what tactics to use against the Six Paths of Pain during this trip to Kirigakure.

Now that Kirigakure's man had left a clone here, assassinating Nagato would be much easier.

He had not forgotten
