History
As the Third Raikage’s son, A led Kumogakure forces through the Land of Hot Water to the Land of Fire border, where Konoha forces blocked their advance. He and Killer B fought Minato Namikaze, but A stopped attacking when Minato took B hostage 151 152 154.
Years later, as Fourth Raikage, A traveled through the night to Kirigakure for B. He clashed with Qi Shuang, charging into an Ice Wall before changing tactics to get around it. Upon reaching B, he embraced him so tightly that B asked him to stop channeling Lightning Release chakra. A then faced negotiations over B’s ransom 551 552 553 555 556.
During a later battle against numerous White Zetsu, A arrived to protect and cover B. He directed B to move deeper into the enemy and use a Tailed Beast Ball for a large-scale sweep 702.
Personality
A is hot-tempered and direct, but his concern for Killer B can override his urge to fight: he held back when Minato threatened B and rushed to Kirigakure when B was in danger 153 154 551. After his first clash with Qi Shuang, he avoided another reckless attack, though the ransom negotiations again tested his restraint 554 556.
