Background / History

The Ruthless Great Emperor began as a frail, sickly woman with no special physique and no aptitude suited for cultivation. Before she had even begun cultivating, she created the prototype of the Heaven Devouring Demonic Art, a feat that drew the attention of Haotian the Great Emperor and Lingbao Heavenly Venerate. Haotian guided her onto the cultivation path, while her brother remained an important source of support during her early struggles. 98 99

Her Heaven Devouring Demonic Art allowed her to devour the Origin of others, repeatedly transforming her body and rapidly strengthening her foundation. The method defied heavenly order and brought increasingly severe tribulations, but she survived them and perfected the art through battle. 99

She repeatedly challenged Wang Bo, an Innate Chaos Physique, despite initially losing by overwhelming margins. Within only a few hundred years, she narrowed the gap from one-move defeats to prolonged stalemates, eventually transforming herself into a Postnatal Chaos Physique. 100
