Dane’s effort to stop the Great Serpent drew Wakanda, Talokan, and Asgard into a widening conflict as fear empowered Kull’s agents. The battle culminated in the World Serpent’s emergence, leaving Dane and his allies searching for a way to defeat its divine body.

• Shangqi broke the seal in Ta Lo, releasing the Soul Eater, and Dane helped the Great Protector destroy it before demanding the Time Stone from The Ancient One.
• Dane brought Shangqi and Xu Xialing to Sokovia as T'Chaka redirected America’s attention toward Talokan, prompting Namor to declare war after American forces raided his Vibranium sanctuary.
• T'Challa supported Erik’s rise and military reforms, but Namor attacked Wakanda, killed T'Chaka, and forced Queen Ramonda and Shuri to flee to Sokovia.
• The Great Serpent empowered Namor with Winter’s Hammer, and Dane and Thor fought him in Wakanda before Namor escaped and the Sky Hammer Venerables began attacking cities.
• Dane gathered allies to confront the Venerables, while Namor and The Serpent attacked an Asgardian force and Sif fought Sin in Tokyo.
• Dane and his allies defeated Sin, Hive, and other Venerables, then confronted The Serpent on an island as Natasha weakened his power by redirecting public fear toward Hydra.
• The World Serpent sacrificed the Venerables to transform into a giant serpent, battered Thor and the Destroyer, and survived Stark’s antimatter Annihilation Bomb.

Dane expanded Atlas’s power across the galaxy, seized the Power Stone, and pursued the High Evolutionary’s interests while building ties with Thor and the Nine Realms. He helped the Guardians confront Ego, captured Ego’s brain, and left Thanos weighing Atlas as a threat.

• Dane defeated the Serpent with Umbrella’s help, then transferred his consciousness into a synthetic body and sent Atlas into the galactic conflicts surrounding the Power Stone.
• Dane led Atlas to victories on Michelle and against Ronan, captured the Power Stone, and brought Knowhere under Atlas’s control.
• Dane recruited Gamora to help him find Thanos, kept Rocket to draw out the High Evolutionary, and claimed Adam’s cocoon as Sovereign and the High Evolutionary made plans around it.
• Dane visited Nidavellir, gave Eitri Dagon Stone for a self-shaping suit, and offered Thor Embers of Creation to aid Odin and build alliances among the Nine Realms.
• Dane captured Supergiant and learned that Ego had taken Quill, then joined Gamora and Yondu in confronting Ego after Yondu revealed that Ego had consumed his other children.
• Dane and the Astartes entered Ego’s underground world as Ego attacked the Guardians, and Dane used the Mind Stone to control him while Atlas rescued the group.
• Dane removed Ego’s brain and contained its power in Utopia Laboratory, while Thanos dismissed the Black Order’s call for revenge and considered Dane alongside the Ancient One and Odin.
