If not for the pair of antennae still on Grand Kai's head after his transformation, and his skin remaining its usual faint blue, he really would have thought this guy was a foreign spy who had infiltrated them.
"Fuck! This is bad!"
King Kai broke out in a cold sweat and spoke in a thoroughly spineless manner. But when he saw Uchiha Hiko's back still standing calmly in place, and recalled Grand Kai's earlier shock, he chose to keep his mouth shut.
From the moment King Kai had led Uchiha Hiko into the spacetime tunnel, there had been no turning back. The only thing he could do now was trust Uchiha Hiko.
Though he had gambled away his future, his life had already been worth it. Not every Kai dared to openly challenge Grand Kai. After all these years, he, King Kai, was the first of his kind!
Though worried, King Kai did not want to do anything reckless. The two of them had challenged Grand Kai in violation of the rules. Even if that was all, once word got out, Grand Kai would not be able to hold onto his position for much longer. Though losing his position would still grant him Grand Kai's lifespan, rather than live as trash for who knew how many years, he might as well raise his head and truly live once.
Uchiha Hiko also heard King Kai's words. He slightly turned his head and glanced at him. Seeing this guy sitting on the ground, trembling all over and drenched in cold sweat like soggy pickled cabbage, he cursed speechlessly, "Are you really brain-dead, old guy, or are you just that cowardly? Pathetic. It's only a transformation. Who said I can't transform?"
As he spoke, Uchiha Hiko turned to look at Grand Kai.
Transform?
