The intense sounds of combat continued to echo across the peaceful sky.
On the training ground, Aoba and Itachi's figures sometimes crossed paths and sometimes fought at close quarters. They were both clearly still children, yet their battle had an entirely different kind of splendor!
Ten whole days had passed since the day Aoba had "defeated" Itachi.
Itachi had kept his promise and withstood the pressure from his clan, while Aoba tactfully refrained from asking any further questions. Since Itachi could appear before him again, that proved the other Uchiha probably would not come looking for trouble in the short term.
Starting that very day, Itachi, whose injuries had not yet fully healed, had taken the initiative to suggest another spar.

Throughout the entire process, Itachi had relied only on his extremely proficient Three Body Techniques, Shurikenjutsu, and other basic methods to toy with him. Aoba had spent nearly eighty percent of his time scrambling desperately, and before he could even manage one successful head-on clash with Itachi, he had been worn down and defeated in the most frustrating fashion imaginable.
