The Dark Domain Creatures lurking in the shadows broke into cold sweats when they saw what had become of the Black Monkeys and the One-Eyed Monsters.
They had wanted to throw caution to the wind and charge into Azure Jade City earlier as well.
However, these Dark Domain Creatures were weaker than the Black Monkeys and the One-Eyed Monsters. Reason had ultimately prevailed, and now they were all filled with relief at having narrowly escaped with their lives. All they could do was watch helplessly as Luo Zheng and Feng Ge departed.
Just one Purifier was enough to give them a run for their money, so they did not dare follow behind.
The Dark Domain occupied most of the Thirteenth Heaven, and the space within it was vast beyond measure.
Luo Zheng had originally planned to follow the mountain stream back.
But Luo Zheng and Feng Ge had been Pursued and Killed All the Way by the Black Monkeys earlier, and in their panic, they had lost their way. After Feng Ge destroyed part of the mountain stream, the two of them could no longer find the route they had taken to get there.
Still, with Feng Ge's identity as a Purifier, traveling through the Dark Domain was safe enough. As long as they kept moving in one direction, they would eventually be able to leave the Dark Domain.
After crossing a small hill, Luo Zheng felt the darkness around him grow denser. The effect of the Dark Fruit was about to fade again.
"Feng Ge, get me a Dark Fruit," Luo Zheng said.
Feng Ge did not do as Luo Zheng asked. With a wave of her hand, a radiance enveloped the top of Luo Zheng's head, and she smiled sweetly. "Then you won't need any Dark Fruit."
