Luo Zheng walked to a corner of the cavern wall and looked over the sculptures carved into it.
The sculptures were bizarre and varied, depicting all kinds of bodies. Some were oxen, some resembled long worms, and others took the shapes of birds.
But none of these bodies was a Heart Fear Eye Demon's true form. A Heart Fear Eye Demon was merely an eyeball. Luo Zheng had learned the basics of this race when he fused with the Mind God Eye.
"They really are exactly like the statues inside the Heavenly Sunflower Temple," Luo Zheng said with a nod.
Clansmen and disciples of superpowers generally did not linger in the First Heaven. Luo Zheng had only entered it through a twist of fate after receiving an invitation from the human race.
Chou Xun was another exception. When he first entered the Other Shore, he had been curious about everything there and had visited the Heavenly Sunflower Temple as well.
"Why would these statues be here?" Wariness showed in Ling Shuang's eyes.
Ling Shuang had suffered terribly on her last visit to the Heavenly Sunflower Temple. She had nearly died there.
"The dangerous thing in the Heavenly Sunflower Temple is the Purification Light. It can purify any Yang Soul, but we don't need to fear it here..." Luo Zheng analyzed. "But why would the Chaotic Origin Spirits have any connection to the Heart Fear Eye Demon Race?"
Luo Zheng also found it baffling. These were two entirely unrelated races.
Even Luo Zheng did not know the secret behind this, so the others were all the more lost in a fog.
Moreover, after climbing all the way up to this cavern, they seemed to have reached a dead end. Although eight other passages branched out around it, all eight led downward.
