Liu Xi attended the Four Directions Pavilion tournament, refined a Zunshi Pill for Lei Zun, and then traveled to Fenyen Valley seeking Tang Zhen’s Nine Dragon Thunder Gang Fire. After saving the failed Fire Bodhi Pill refinement, Liu Xi agreed to help Tang Zhen despite not yet securing the flame.

• Liu Xi gave Xiao Yi Xian the Zunshi Pill, attended Lei Zun’s banquet, and agreed to join the Four Directions Pavilion Trial Tournament.
• Liu Xi and Xiao Yi Xian arrived at Thunder Mountain, where Lin Yan and Han Yue competed but were eliminated before the top eight.
• Feng Qing'er won the tournament, and Liu Xi refined a Zunshi Pill for Lei Zun, earning Wind Thunder Pavilion’s support.
• Liu Xi met Yao Tianhuo and traveled with him and Xiao Yi Xian to Fenyen Valley to negotiate for Tang Zhen’s Nine Dragon Thunder Gang Fire.
• Tang Zhen asked Liu Xi to refine a Fire Bodhi Pill for Huo'er, but Liu Xi demanded the Nine Dragon Thunder Gang Fire in exchange.
• Liu Xi refined a Poria Green Pill for Yao Tianhuo while Tang Zhen tested alchemists to find help with the Fire Bodhi Pill.
• Master Huan and Master Xiao failed to fuse the final medicinal essences, so Liu Xi used his Azure Fire Lotus to stabilize them.
• Tang Zhen offered his life in exchange for Liu Xi completing the pill, and Liu Xi agreed after Xiao Yi Xian appealed to him.

Liu Xi cured Valley Master Luo’s Cold Poison and used its refined energy to break through to Dou Zun. He then joined the Ye Family for the journey to Sacred Pill City, carrying its inheritance and preparing to compete in the Alchemy Convention.

• Liu Xi completed the Fire Bodhi Pill for Tang Zhen, who gave him a Nine Dragon Jade Token and promised aid, while Yao Tianhuo recovered his Five Star Dou Zun strength.
• Luo Yinzhu brought Liu Xi to Yin Valley to treat Valley Master Luo’s Cold Poison, and Liu Xi used medicinal baths and Azure Flame to remove it in two treatments.
• Liu Xi refined the extracted poison into energy and absorbed it to break through to One Star Dou Zun, while Xiao Yi Xian advanced to Six Star Dou Zun.
• Liu Xi left Yin Valley with Xiao Yi Xian and went to Ye City, where Ye Zhong asked him to represent the Ye Family in its coming evaluation.
• Liu Xi agreed to help the Ye Family at the Alchemy Convention if it supported him unconditionally in the Pill Tower, and Ye Zhong gave him the ancestor’s inheritance to study and share with Ye Xinlan.
• Liu Xi opened the sealed inheritance, found alchemy texts and soul cultivation methods, and gave Ye Xinlan the Soul Tempering Art to help restore the Ye Family.

Liu Xi secured the Ye Family’s place among the Five Great Families, earned the Pill Tower’s support, and entered the Alchemy Convention. In the Pill Realm, he reunited with Zi Yan and confronted Mu Gu, leaving the story with their battle underway.

• Liu Xi won the Five Families assessment with record Soul Value and bead scores, then defeated Cao Ying and Dan Chen in the final Spiritual Power contest while protecting them from the backlash.
• After Mu Gu attacked Liu Xi with Black Flame, Xiao Yi Xian fought him and was burned before he escaped through a Spatial Rift.
• Xuan Kongzi welcomed Liu Xi into the Pill Tower, awarded him an Eighth-grade Alchemist badge, and revealed that Soul Hall sought the Three Thousand Burning Flame.
• Liu Xi entered the Alchemy Convention’s Soul Illusion Realm and emerged first, then declined Cao Ying’s proposal to form an alliance for the next round.
• In the Pill Realm, Liu Xi collected rare ingredients and found Zi Yan living in the Ten Thousand Medicine Mountain Range with the magical beast king Xiong Zhan.
• Liu Xi broke Mu Gu’s Soul Barrier and helped the trapped alchemists escape, while Song Qing fled and Cao Ying stayed behind to face Mu Gu with him.
• Liu Xi and Xiong Zhan fought Mu Gu as Liu Xi’s Green Flame countered his Black Flame, and the battle pushed Liu Xi toward a possible breakthrough to Two Star Dou Zun.

Liu Xi won the Alchemy Convention with an unprecedented Seven-Colored Pill Lightning display and prepared to face Mu Gu in the Star Domain. When Mu Gu betrayed the Pill Tower and the Three Thousand Burning Flame broke free, Liu Xi struck him with Blazing Heaven Finger, leaving the battle’s outcome unresolved.

• Liu Xi defeated Mu Gu in the Pill Realm, advanced his soul through the Earth Core Soul Marrow, and left with Cao Ying and Zi Yan as the realm closed.
• Liu Xi claimed the Alchemy Convention championship after his Eighth-grade Pill drew Seven-Colored Pill Lightning, then received an ancient soul cultivation method and a chance to enter the Star Domain.
• Liu Xi joined the other candidates in the Star Domain, secretly took control of the Three Thousand Burning Flame, then pretended his attempt to subdue it had failed.
• Mu Gu revealed his Soul Hall allegiance and summoned three Dou Zun experts, while Liu Xi and the others fought them as the Three Thousand Burning Flame broke its seal.
• The freed Three Thousand Burning Flame rejected Mu Gu’s demand to serve the Soul Hall and attacked him, while the Soul Hall Dou Zuns struggled to restrain it.
• Mu Gu approached the Three Thousand Burning Flame’s Origin Fire, but it blasted him away, and Liu Xi struck him with Blazing Heaven Finger as azure fire swallowed him.
