"You're not eating?"
Ronglin rubbed his chin, thought for a moment, and looked at Minato. Before Ronglin could ask, Minato quickly shook his head as well. Only an idiot would eat that thing.
"You're both not eating?"
"What a pity."
Ronglin looked regretful as he turned to the Nine-Tails and asked, "Nine-Tails, do you want to eat?"
"..."
The Nine-Tails' expression froze, his face filled with terror.
"My lord, I don't eat smelly Great Toads."
"..."
Gama Bunta's mouth twitched incessantly. This was simply the greatest humiliation—an insult to toads!
Was he really that smelly? That terrifying?!!
Ronglin had asked this one, then that one, and Bunta was furious beyond measure. His already red toad face turned even redder.
"Enough!!!"
Unable to endure it any longer, Gama Bunta roared, "Uchiha Ronglin, what exactly do you want!!!"
Bunta interrupted Ronglin just as he was about to continue questioning his guards. Ronglin raised his head and looked at Bunta, who was much smaller than the Nine-Tails. The corners of his mouth slowly curled up as he spread his palm.
"Nothing much. I just want to roast you. I wonder if the Great Toads of Mount Myōboku will come fight me to the death if I roast you?"
"Fourth Hokage!!"
Seeing the situation spiraling out of control, Jiraiya was caught in the middle and hurriedly tried to speak up for Bunta.
But before he could say anything, Ronglin narrowed his eyes at him, a cold glint flashing from within. Minato hurriedly grabbed his teacher Jiraiya and secretly shook his head.
He signaled for him not to speak at this time, or the situation would only become worse.
If Ronglin had merely intended to scare Bunta, it might turn into actually roasting him. By then, Mount Myōboku would definitely fight Konoha to the death.
