"Why didn't you stop him?"
Everyone could not help feeling disappointed. They had originally hoped Ronglin would stop Uchiha Madara. It would have been even better if the two disagreed after a few words and started fighting on the spot.
But the outcome disappointed them.
"Pfft~~"
Ronglin smiled disdainfully. Looking at the hurriedly arriving Tsunade and the others as if they were idiots, he said speechlessly:
"He wasn't here to seek revenge on me, so why would I stop him?
Besides, what does this have to do with me? Is it my duty to stop Uchiha Madara, fight him to the death, and then kill him? What a joke."
"..."
Everyone's faces darkened, and they fell silent.
Ronglin continued:
"Even if I were willing, do you want the already battered Kumogakure to be flattened outright, with barely a few living people left in the entire village?"
Ronglin's words instantly made everyone break out in a cold sweat. They had been focused solely on Uchiha Madara and had overlooked those factors.
If Ronglin had truly stopped Uchiha Madara and fought him here, there was no doubt that all of Kumogakure would have become ruins. Only then would the casualties truly have been catastrophic.
"Enough of that."
Tsunade strode forward, sat across from Ronglin, and stared at him as she demanded loudly:
"What else have you been hiding from us? Uchiha Madara has now declared war on our Five Great Shinobi Villages! Did you know that?"
"He declared war?"
Ronglin was quite surprised. This had exceeded his expectations. He had thought that even if Uchiha Madara had been revived, he would wait for some time rather than act so rashly.
But the word "thought" meant nothing when applied to Uchiha Madara. That man could not be judged by assumptions.
Anything was possible
