Outside the enormous rescue pod, several people dressed in luxurious robes trimmed with gilded borders silently watched through the glass window at the blond man lying on the hospital bed, no longer breathing.
"It was truly unexpected that something like this would happen to Bonney," one of them said slowly.
"This is a disgrace to the Celestial Dragons!" another said angrily. "Someone actually dared to lay hands on a direct member of the royal family. Those lowly commoners no longer have any respect for us!"
"Commoners couldn't have killed Bonney." Someone sneered. "The culprit was that man named Ronglin. He and Bonney were tricked by Doflamingo into fighting, and she died in the ensuing disaster."
"That disgusting brat again?" someone said with distaste. "Doflamingo really never lets anyone rest. He wants to use our hands to get rid of this Ronglin! All he ever thinks about are these little tricks."
"That may be so, but didn't Ronglin once declare that he would go to Laugh Tale to find the Poneglyph and make it public when he returned?" someone else chimed in. "Are we really going to do nothing?"
"Leave Ronglin to the Five Elders." The first speaker made the decision. "If Bonney can be saved, then save her. Find Vegapunk and see whether there is a chance to bring Bonney back to life."
