Ronglin walked over to Jinbe. Looking toward the distant ship, he saw a burly man standing at its prow, a cigar trailing blue smoke from his mouth. After casually casting a cold, domineering glance this way, the man disdainfully looked forward again. He wore a large coat, one hand covered in jeweled rings while the other bore an enormous iron hook—the classic image of a one-armed pirate.

"That's... Crocodile?" Ronglin recognized him. They had crossed paths during the battle of Marineford. "Why is he here?"

After his plot in the Land of Sand was exposed, Crocodile had been stripped of his title as one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. Ronglin remembered this pirate with the air of a true tyrant quite clearly. If the Straw Hat Kid had not interfered, the ancient weapon Pluton might have fallen into this formidable man's hands.

Still, bad as he was, he had principles. He was not like Doflamingo, rotten to the core.

"Bring the ship over. Let's see what he wants." That remarkably accurate sense of foreboding in Ronglin's heart was acting up again.

Jinbe remained wary of someone as sinister as Crocodile. Even though they had once fought side by side, there was no way he could sincerely regard him as a friend. He immediately put himself on guard and steered the ship closer.

The ships soon drew near, but to avoid causing any misunderstanding, Jinbe stopped at a safe distance.

"You troublemaker, shouldn't you be out overturning the world? What are you doing here?" Crocodile gave Ronglin a sidelong glance, his cold question tinged with disdain. From his attitude, Ronglin could clearly feel his rejection and hostility.

"You really don't mince words!" Ronglin chuckled as he looked at Crocodile. "How could a peace-loving man like me overturn the world?"
