"Go find the Captain. Check the lookout tower and see who's coming over," Ronglin said. He was currently aboard the ship, and the Captain's enthusiasm and admiration for the Star Alliance made Ronglin willing to lend him a hand.
Jazz understood that Ronglin intended to help them. He immediately ran over to speak with the crew, saying that he had some lookout experience and was itching to take a look.
Jazz did not mention the unknown powerful figure approaching, so as not to cause panic.
Ronglin was very pleased with Jazz's attentiveness in this detail. The little fellow's growth proved that his training had not gone to waste.
After watching Jazz head to the lookout tower, Ronglin turned and went to find the Captain. He frankly told him that someone was heading in their direction, and that they did not appear friendly.
The Captain was startled at first, then cautiously asked Ronglin several questions, probing into his identity. He clearly did not look like the shipwrecked victim the Captain had assumed him to be.
Before long, Jazz ran back and reported the situation to Ronglin. The newcomers were pirates, though they would have to get closer before he could identify which pirate crew they belonged to.
This completely shocked the Captain. Even this inconspicuous little brat possessed such skills? His own lookout had noticed nothing, yet this kid had spotted pirates approaching?
"Captain, don't be afraid! We're just catching a ride," Ronglin said with a warm, amiable smile. "To repay your generosity, when the pirates arrive, I'm willing to help you solve this problem."
