Law was somewhat moved. The major events Ronglin had accomplished over the past two years had indeed shaken the New World, and the Star Alliance's rapid development had truly exceeded everyone's expectations.
Especially the Ten Thousand Nations Alliance Summit. When news of it first arrived, nearly every major power believed the Star Alliance intended to rise on its momentum and become a super alliance second only to the World Government. Yet after so many things happened, the Ten Thousand Nations Alliance Summit had not been perfectly realized, and only a small number of national powers had joined the Star Alliance.
Even so, the Star Alliance was still, for now, a force that not even the Four Emperors could shake.
The Navy had remained still, while rumors said the World Government was being tied down by the Revolutionary Army and had no spare strength to deal with the Star Alliance. Thus, at present, the Star Alliance was undeniably a colossal force that had risen in the New World.
"Come to think of it, why does the Star Alliance always make people feel so uneasy?" Ronglin looked at Law and asked, "We have achievements, strength, talent, and even lofty ideals and ambitions. So why have outsiders always held us in such low regard?"
Law shot Ronglin a glance. Low regard? In many neutral nations around the world, and even within nations allied with the World Government, plenty of people praised the Star Alliance's name. Its reputation among ordinary civilians was even more astonishing. How could that be considered low?
But when it came down to it, the real reason so many people lacked confidence in the Star Alliance was probably because it had enemies on every side, Law silently thought.
"Perhaps those people are just timid!" Ronglin sighed wistfully and said, "After
