Ronglin had sent the Star Alliance's Vice Alliance Leader to begin constructing an undersea fortress. He was probably planning to use it as the Star Alliance's retreat. Once all the powers across the world had been eliminated, the order Ronglin established would continue supporting the operations of the world's nations. Then the Star Alliance would retreat into the undersea world, guarding the fortress and deterring the entire world.
"But what about the pirates who joined the Star Alliance?" someone asked the key question. "Those Great Pirates who won glorious achievements for the Star Alliance can't possibly be willing to conquer the whole world, give up all power, retreat beneath the sea, and no longer take part in or interfere with the pinnacle of world power!"
Dragon frowned slightly. "I haven't figured that out yet. I think Ronglin may already have an idea himself. After all, this is a serious hidden danger. If it can't be resolved, the Star Alliance will collapse in an instant. Since Ronglin dared to make such a move, he can't possibly have failed to prepare a backup plan."
At the mention of this issue, many of the Revolutionary Army's senior officers looked uneasy. After all, when the Star Alliance had first begun, it relied on countless pirates who had shaken the New World to blaze a path forward. Only afterward did it gradually win over the people's hearts, gather the powers of nations worldwide, and stabilize and strengthen the Star Alliance.
If the Star Alliance truly gained the ability to establish a new order in the future, only to ultimately give up the power to rule the world, then those famed pirates beneath its banner would likely not take it well.
