Ronglin muttered under his breath, but the excitement in his eyes lingered for a long time. Deep down, he was also the type who craved battle.

"See you tomorrow, you two."

Ronglin withdrew his gaze and strode away.

"Hey!!"

As Ronglin left as well, Shimura Ou and Harusame Yu were left utterly dumbfounded. The three of them seemed to have passed the test, but what time exactly were they supposed to meet tomorrow morning?! Tsunade-sensei had not said!

However, the news that Tsunade was taking on new students had not spread yet. Very few people knew about it, aside from the people directly involved. Even Orochimaru and Jiraiya of the Sannin had not received the news.

"I became a rookie instructor today. Tsunade Class has been established."

Orochimaru's hand paused. The corners of his mouth curved up slightly on his sinister face, but he said nothing.

The carefree Jiraiya's eyes widened. "When did that happen? How come we never heard about it?!"

"A few days ago. The Third Hokage personally came to me."

There was a touch of helplessness and anger in her voice. To be honest, she had not wanted to accept this assignment at all, but she had no choice but to take it.

"Are there any special children?"

Orochimaru hit the mark with a single question. If there were no promising students worth cultivating, then with the Third Hokage's personality, he would never have asked Tsunade to take on the assignment.

"There don't seem to be any particularly outstanding kids in this class. There's Hatake Kakashi in the next class, and he's not bad, but he graduated too early. That isn't good for a child's development. I heard the Third Hokage plans to have that kid Minato take him on."

At the mention of Minato, Jiraiya's face showed a hint of pride, making Tsunade and Orochimaru roll their eyes.
