Background / History

The Third Elder is the Peak Master of Bihua Peak, one of Xuanxiao Sect's Grand Elders. Her standing is sufficiently high that even personal disciples of the sect master must salute her. Bihua Peak employs Outer Disciples to tend its extensive spiritual plants, while its upper mountain contains Cui Lan Palace and her private flower-field residence. 110 129 130

Having cultivated for hundreds of years and remained in the Void Glimpse Realm for many years, she believes she has little prospect of reaching the Heaven Awakening Realm. This stagnation left her bored with ordinary cultivation, travel, and plant cultivation; alcohol became her preferred escape from that monotony. 175 293

The Third Elder first appears on Lotus Peak while hidden from You Su's divine sense, deliberately testing whether he will salute an empty space. She is displeased when Wangshu Fairy chooses to accompany You Su down the mountain, recognizing that Wangshu is becoming more independent because of him. 110

Jade Ring Pool Mission

After summoning You Su to Bihua Peak, she explains that his connection to his Mistress allows him to enter Jade Ring Pool, which has sealed itself against most cultivators.
