Donning the Laughing Brahma mask, a surge of abundant power instantly spread through his limbs and bones, allowing Uesugi Tetsu to exhale in relief.

The inner energy that had been nearly depleted moments ago erupted from the depths of his body, coating his fingertips with a layer of shimmering white energy.

"The Special Affairs Division will be here soon, so let's finish this quickly."

The Laughing Brahma adopted a straightforward stance without any fancy flourishes. He took a deep breath, tensing every muscle in his body until they were coiled and intertwined, making him look like a humanoid figure cast from black steel.

Now that he possessed overwhelming power, Uesugi Tetsu decided to use his full strength to crush his opponent in the shortest possible time.

"Roar..."

Even an imbecile like the White Brahma realized at this moment that the weak human before it was no longer there. Instead, it faced a Brahma similar to itself in essence.

A powerful, bloodthirsty Evil Ghost!

Uesugi Tetsu seized the fleeting opportunity, stepping forward without hesitation to close the distance, using his sword hilt to deflect the incredibly sharp claws.

The blade of Kaga Kiyomitsu spun in mid-air, completing a 180-degree rotation before embedding itself into the White Brahma's mask.

Then, it sliced it in two!

The White Brahma's hoarse roar abruptly ceased. With immense hatred, it stared deeply at the Laughing Brahma before it, also remembering its previous human face.

It whispered furiously, "I will definitely... kill you!"

"I hope you can still say that later."

Uesugi Tetsu dismissed it nonchalantly and retracted his blade, the Blood Tremor.

With the crisp sound of Kaga Kiyomitsu sheathing, the cracked Evil Ghost mask before him fell to the ground, shattering into countless pieces with a clack.

The White Brahma projection that had invaded the mortal realm was thus exorcised!

Uesugi Tetsu shook his head as he deactivated his transformation.

He looked at the star ratings in the notifications.

"It's recovered from one star to two stars in just a few days." Uesugi Tetsu recalled what the foreman had said about the White Brahma eating anyone it met. "But at the same level, the White Brahma is no match for me at all."

Even half a star wasn't an insurmountable gap, especially since the opponent was likely still in a weakened state.

Although the White Brahma was originally two stars or higher and had more innate skills than him, its skills lacked sufficient power and only served to scratch him and increase his combat experience.

Releasing the Hundred-Eyed Demon's eyeballs, Uesugi Tetsu saw the black luxury cars of the Special Affairs Division speeding towards them from a distance and nodded in satisfaction.

He had to admit, the Special Affairs Division was quite efficient; they could get reinforcements to a branch within half an hour.

After circling the building to confirm there were no lurking yokai or supernatural entities around, Uesugi Tetsu sat down on the ground beside the unconscious Kitano Runa and poured a drop of Spirit Awakening Mist into her mouth.

Then, Uesugi Tetsu closed his eyes and entered Tokoyo.

--Strike while the iron is hot!

"Two-Shaku-Sama, can you tell me the White Brahma's location?"

"Po~ It's perfectly clear."

Pushing open the thatched wooden door, Uesugi Tetsu followed the small Two-Shaku-Sama outside.

After following the Two-Shaku-Sama's short legs for a while, he finally couldn't help but say, "You're walking too slowly. Watch this."

"Popopo!"

With that, Uesugi Tetsu scooped her up amidst her startled cries and placed her on his head. "You just need to point the way; leave the traveling to me."

The wind whipped through the Two-Shaku-Sama's hair. She shrieked a couple of times until she grabbed the two horns on Uesugi Tetsu's head to steady herself.

In less than ten minutes, they arrived at the White Brahma's hiding place.

Inside a dense, withered forest, the sound of crunching and chewing could be heard.

Uesugi Tetsu slightly parted the branches and saw the White Brahma gnawing on half of a farmer's corpse. At the White Brahma's feet lay a small mountain of white bones.

[Severely Injured White Brahma (1.5 Stars)]

A prompt popped up, confirming its identity.

--No wonder I noticed fewer farmers on the streets earlier when I was traveling; it turns out the White Brahma ate them all.

It's no wonder it recovered so quickly. After devouring dozens, even hundreds, of farmers, how could it not recover quickly?

The Two-Shaku-Sama hid behind a tree stump and quietly asked, "Lord Tetsu, what should I do next?"

"Just watch from the sidelines for now," Uesugi Tetsu said, silently drawing Kaga Kiyomitsu. He planned to give the ravenous White Brahma a surprise. "Only appear if I'm clearly at a disadvantage."

The Two-Shaku-Sama gave a "po" to show she understood. She watched as Uesugi Tetsu silently circled around, moving behind the White Brahma.

The White Brahma, completely engrossed in the pleasure of eating, suddenly felt a tap on its shoulder.

It turned its head in confusion.

Then, a sharp, cold blade descended!
