"Honorable Lord Fafnir, although Essek has a trace of Abyss Dragon blood, that does not prove the Dark Dragon was killed by humans, does it? Perhaps when the Dark Dragon escaped, it was wounded by one of your kin so severely that it could not heal. Later, its injuries worsened and it died beyond cure. Essek may simply have picked up the spoils." Angel carefully chose his words. If Fafnir joined the battle between the two sides now, things would truly descend into utter chaos.
Fafnir's strength was unquestionably a notch above the Greater Demons of the Void Giant Tower.
Although Angel had no favorable impression of Frost Moon's wizards, this was no longer merely Frost Moon's problem. Sanders and Kant were involved as well... Huh, it seemed he had not seen Kant on the floating ice earlier?
As thoughts raced through Angel's mind, Fafnir said coolly, "What you say is possible. But even if that is true, lowly humans must never possess Abyss Dragon blood."
"Actually, there are powerful humans too..." Angel said weakly. There had been so many legendary wizards throughout history. Their departure from the Southern Region did not mean they had fallen. Angel did not believe Fafnir would dare call those people "lowly humans" to their faces.
"What did you mean by that?!" Fafnir turned a cold gaze on Angel, her icy eyes stabbing him like relentless blades.
