Besides the black-robed man, there was another person in this chaotic void, quietly watching Angel across an endless span of space-time.
Yet Angel was completely unaware of it.
He was still immersed in the strange resonance brought about by Black Cloud's transformation. Under this resonance, Angel felt all manner of wondrous scenes appearing before his eyes.
He did not know what these scenes specifically were, but they unfolded in countless transformations before him. As colors, halos, and patterns flashed by, Angel could not help sinking into this unknown world.
The various scenes brought Angel a great many inspirations, like sparks flying from collisions of knowledge with countless scholars, each igniting an interesting new idea.
Whether it was spells, alchemy, or even the application of Dream Wilderness's authority, all kinds of ideas were drawn forth by these strange scenes.
Angel finally understood what it meant for inspiration to gush forth like a spring.
He vaguely guessed that these scenes might be what Sanders had once mentioned—the gift of truth.
Or perhaps a reward from the world consciousness.
Back when Gloria had created a spell on Demon Illusion Island, Sanders had explained this strange mechanism in detail.
Every creation of a spell was the opening and challenging of a new path. The Great Will would obstruct all those who ventured down that path, but it would also reward those who made it through. It was a strange and contradictory mechanism. As for why it did this, that was a very complex subject. Many wizards had studied it, yet none had reached a universally accepted answer.
Although Angel had guessed part of the truth, he was still deeply puzzled.
He had never imagined that constructing a spell slot would trigger a spell-creation phenomenon. Strictly speaking, the Door Model was not his own creation
