Although Fingernail Granny had not said much and had even misunderstood, thinking he wanted to use the Lucky Scroll to refine something mysterious, Angel could sense that her dissuasion held no ill intent. Perhaps there was something in this matter she did not wish to mention.
Fingernail Granny nodded. "Muse thinks highly of you. I trust Muse's eye."
Angel froze. He had not expected to hear Muse's name from Fingernail Granny.
"Mediocre" Muse—the director of the Research Institute. Sanders had said something similar not long ago, and now Fingernail Granny was saying it too... Yet he had never even met Muse.
