After they crossed the plain, they saw a dark abyss like a heavenly chasm, stretching from the distant horizon into unknown depths of darkness. Like a line that could cleave dusk from dawn, it divided the land in two.
Angel looked at the bottomless dark abyss, a flicker of confusion passing through his eyes.
The Surface, Middle, and Inner Worlds of the Fairy Tale World actually shared the same terrain. He clearly remembered that, at this location in the Surface World, there should have been a chain of basins. Why had such a deep pit appeared here in the Inner World?
"This is the Solar Bird's Fallen Pit." Sanders explained to Angel, "It was supposedly created by a legendary great wizard when the worlds merged."
The so-called Solar Bird was actually an ancestral form of the Blazing Molten Bird.

However, Blazing Molten Birds could only live in the Middle World, because only its concentration of magic power could breed and sustain them. Solar Birds, meanwhile, could only live in the Inner World, just like Peril Mountain Giants.
"Whether the Solar Bird was too powerful, or someone simply coveted its flesh, in the end, it was slain by a legendary wizard. This pit was left behind then." Sanders paused and pointed at the abyss. "However, because it was close to Black Castle, Black Castle later made use of it."
Made use of it? Angel looked at Sanders in puzzlement.
Sanders gazed into the dark, unfathomable abyss and said blandly, "You have been to Black Castle
