Meanwhile, Angel successfully pushed the battlefield to the vicinity of Black Castle.
They were now less than a thousand meters from the densest concentration of undead.
It had already been tremendously shocking when viewed from the foot of the mountain. Now that they had reached a place near the summit, that shock had not diminished in the slightest—it was even more soul-stirring.
The undead ahead were packed together to a hair-raising degree. If Angel fired a shot here, the undead he killed could probably gather directly into a White Light Bullet.
At the foot of the mountain, they could still vaguely make out Black Castle's outline. But here, all they could see were one savage, horrifying face after another, along with madness and malice so dense they seemed to have reached their limit.
Forget ordinary people—even transcendent beings standing nearby would be affected by that icy, demonic madness, growing impatient and irritable.
"Do we keep moving forward now?" Angel asked through the Mind Tether.
But before Isabella could answer, the undead made the choice for him. A vast number of undead charged toward them!
Angel had once seen
