Who could the refiner be? Frost looked around, his gaze passing over every face, yet no one looked the part to him.
Could it be the soul-type witch? Frost looked at Isabella, whose expression was clearly evasive.
Not her.
Frost then looked at Sanders, the other Truth-Knowing Wizard present who had caught his attention. He was quite strong, and the sharpness in his eyes, along with that proud spirit, did resemble the geniuses of the Source World.
Sanders neither avoided nor flinched from Frost's gaze. After meeting his eyes for several seconds, Frost shook his head again. Not this one either.
Then only Kimberly remained.
That made sense. Only this woman carried the scent of gears and machinery about her. She should be an alchemist specializing in machinery.
Though Frost was somewhat surprised that a mechanical alchemist could forge a unified Prelude of Reincarnation, there were no other candidates at present.
Frost looked at Kimberly with a gratified expression. A second-level Truth-Knowing Wizard who could touch the mysterious realm was truly remarkable.
But how had she dealt with it? After failing to refine a mysterious object, how could she still be alive and unharmed?
Just as Frost was about to ask, Kimberly shook her head before he could speak. "You misunderstand. Although I am an alchemist, I have only been studying alchemy for a short time. I have yet to touch the mysterious realm."
Kimberly's denial left Frost completely baffled. If it was not her, then who could it be?
"Who exactly is this refiner you speak of?" Frost looked at Isabella. "Don't tell me it was you?"
Isabella turned her head aside and gave a cold snort.
After a stretch of silence, Angel quietly raised his hand. "It was me."
Frost's heartbeat skipped. He whipped his head around. "You?
