"An arrow?" Horus murmured under his breath, then looked at Azaz with eyes full of suspicion. "How did you know?"
Though Horus had used no magic, his strange heterochromatic eyes, coupled with the icy aura constantly radiating from him, made Azaz feel as though he were naked in the depths of a bitter winter.
Azaz did not know whether he should reveal the details to Horus. He opened his mouth, then closed it again in the end.
"Sebastian told you?" At that moment, Gloria stepped forward. She was both questioning Azaz and helping him out of the predicament, while also blocking Horus's aura.
Only then did Azaz recover somewhat. Panting heavily, it nodded. "Yes."
"Sebastian told me that it vaguely saw the truth behind the light in the void. It seemed to be a glowing arrow."
As Azaz spoke, Sanders quietly explained Azaz's situation to Horus. However, he did not explicitly say that Sebastian was a demon, instead describing it as a parasite concealed within the void and full of unpredictability.
Horus said nothing further after hearing this. There were always some fortunate people in the world who encountered unimaginable opportunities. Still, since Sanders had said that the "creature" behind Azaz was full of variables, it might not necessarily be an opportunity. It could also be an abyss that devoured people.
Horus shifted his attention away from Azaz and back to the arrow he had described.
If Azaz was telling the truth, then an arrow capable of making all of them sense a premonition of danger had to possess terrifying power.
But why had it crossed the void to shoot toward Sky Mechanical City?
Since it was an arrow, it must have a target. Who was its target? Whom did it intend to shoot?
As Horus pondered this question, he
