"Has Angel already left?" Muse asked softly.
Antonio replied, "Yes. Pat left Sky Mechanical City through the Planar Corridor three hours ago."
Muse nodded, then asked, "What about Horus?"
Antonio seemed to understand what Muse wanted to ask and said bluntly, "Lord Horus has already returned to the main city district. I also sent him a message through the Magic-Energy Eye earlier. Given Lord Horus's breadth of vision and reputation, I believe he will not spread word of what happened today."
"That's good." Muse let out a long breath before getting to the point. "You came to find me in person. Did you discover any clues?"
Antonio immediately nodded. "Yes. I previously sent the Magic-Energy Eye to patrol near Red Sunflower Ward, but it found nothing. However, when we went to investigate where Si Man was temporarily staying, we discovered some strange details."
Muse steadied herself and stared intently at Antonio, waiting for his explanation.
"When Loser's Arrow tore through the void and descended, the entire city was plunged into darkness. According to Si Man's friends, Helen and Liwei, while they were wondering in alarm what had happened, Si Man suddenly fell silent. Their attention was wholly fixed on the light brought by Loser's Arrow, so they did not notice Si Man's condition in time. It was only after the darkness gradually dispersed that they realized Si Man had fainted."
"Si Man fainted? Could it have been the work of the Budding Believers?" Muse asked doubtfully.
"According to Si Man, before she fainted, she vaguely saw a figure. That figure was neither Helen nor Liwei, and was very likely one of the Budding Believers."
Muse pondered. "If it was a Budding Believer, why only attack Si Man instead of killing her? Or taking her away?"
"Perhaps they were unable to?
