Because the miniature signal tower he carried with him had already been sent away, Muse could only go to the public signal tower in the main city district if he wanted to contact Angel.

By the time Muse arrived at the signal tower, the sky was already darkening.

To make matters worse, someone was currently using the signal tower. Muse waited outside for several minutes, but the other party was still chattering away. Muse quietly bypassed the mental barrier the man had set up and listened in, only to discover that he was mostly spouting meaningless nonsense.

After thinking it over, Muse simply knocked on the door.

Before long, a burly man angrily opened it. "Can't you see the sign says 'In Use'? Who—ah?"

He stopped halfway through his words, because he found himself facing a beauty unlike any he had ever seen.

Having rarely dealt with women—especially witches—he suddenly did not know what to do.

Muse had originally intended to politely offer some magic crystals and ask the male apprentice to give way, but seeing his current state, his eyes suddenly shifted.

Muse lifted his folding fan and gave a bewitching smile. "Sir, I have something extremely important to discuss with Mentor Lexa. Could you let me go first?"

Lexa? The man seemed to recall something. "You mean Lord Lexa, the 'Whip Witch' from Elysian Pure Land?"

"Yes." Muse tossed him a flirtatious glance. "If you let me go first, then the next time you visit Elysium Pavilion, I can give you a discount~"

At that moment, Muse seemed to be radiating pink light.

The man swallowed hard, as though his mind had gone blank, and nodded. "All right, all right... Let me cut off my contact with the merchant caravan first, then I'll give it to... you, miss."
