Those seeds that glimmered faintly were mixed into the mist and not particularly noticeable. Yet those seeds were precisely why Angel thought so highly of the Tree Civilization.
Because they were the foundation of civilization.
At this moment, Frod and Sanders were also silently watching the green mist. They did not know about the faintly glowing seeds, but since Angel had told them to keep watching, there was surely another change to come.
Before long, Frod suddenly rubbed his eyes. "Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I think I just saw a flash of light?"
"There was indeed a flicker of light, within the mist," Sanders answered with certainty.
As Sanders finished speaking, Frod saw the light again. Within the thick green mist, dense as liquid, a point of light suddenly lit up.
It seemed to be breathing, brightening and dimming by turns.
As time passed, the point of light began flashing more frequently, its brightness steadily increasing, until it finally remained lit and no longer dimmed.
What exactly was that point of light?
Frod was filled with doubt. Just as he was about to ask, the shining point of light suddenly began to move.
It was no longer drifting with the wind as before, but moving with a clear purpose. The light flashed, pierced through layers upon layers of green mist, and flew straight toward the largest leaf on the middle level of the towering tree.
After the point of light reached the leaf, which was comparable in size to a town square, a strange ripple spread out from within it.
Even Frod, several miles away, sensed that ripple.
The ripple was very strange. It was not sound, yet one could perceive the meaning it carried. It was somewhat like using spiritual power to converse through a Mind
