The Tree Spirit turned and saw that the newcomer was Sanders.
Sanders was dressed as meticulously as ever. A black top hat completely covered his short gray-green hair, while his formal tailcoat fit his figure perfectly. His black gloves embroidered with dark patterns and his cape lined in vivid red were equally immaculate, without a single crease.
Under the biting night wind, the cape behind Sanders fluttered incessantly, never once touching the ground.
Angel even suspected that, even if there were no wind tonight, the moment Sanders started walking, his cape would still stir without wind... after all, Sanders cared greatly about the image of noble attire.
"Has Lord Rhein come out already?" Sanders asked as he approached.
The Tree Spirit was still wondering how Angel had managed to notify Sanders, so he did not react at once. In the end, Angel answered Sanders's question.
"Yes. Just moments ago, Lord Rhein came out through the passage in the Star Pool Ruins."
After receiving confirmation, Sanders nodded. "Then let's go over."
With a tap of his toe, Sanders flew into the air. Angel followed suit. Seeing that the Tree Spirit had not moved, Angel called softly, "Tree Spirit Lord?"
The Tree Spirit was dazed for a moment before following them.
As they flew toward the Star Pool Ruins, the Tree Spirit continued pondering how Angel had notified Sanders.
Perhaps other wizards would not have found this question particularly significant. But the Tree Spirit knew full well that something was amiss.
Because Mirror Princess had yet to awaken, he had temporarily taken over her authority and could clearly sense every exchange of information between the Mirror World and the outside. For example, Su Mishi's illusionary flying message the day before yesterday had only been able to enter the Mirror World and fly
