"Iron Armor Granny merely asked me some questions about energy rules, then went to register her identity on her own. She said she wanted to take a look around the city."
Angel was somewhat surprised. "Granny registered her identity?"
From the very beginning, Firstheart City had been positioned as a city for mortals, so its regulations had likewise been made solely for mortals. Transcendents had always been proud and difficult to restrain with rules. If Firstheart City had been a Transcendent city, that would have been one thing, but this was merely a mortal domain. Naturally, they had no desire to merge into it.
Just like earlier, on the way when he had taken everyone to Skyvault Tower, whether Wallace or Liana, they had been curious about the forms of the surrounding residents, yet they had never considered integrating into this way of life to experience it up close.
Therefore, when Angel learned that Iron Armor Granny had actually taken the initiative to register her identity, he found it very unexpected.

Sanders did not actually know whether this answer was accurate, but he could see that Iron Armor Granny was not resistant to integrating into life in Firstheart City.
