X0 designation?
Angel had previously learned from Reynolds that designations in the "X" series meant the subject had originally been an experiment.
What Angel had not expected was that above Reynolds's X1 designation, there was actually an X0? Reynolds had never mentioned it before. He probably had not even known that Subject Zero existed.
Angel looked at the bright-red numeral "0." According to the laboratory's unspoken rules, the earlier the designation, the stronger the subject. This Subject Zero's strength was likely not to be underestimated.
As he pondered this, the glass cylinder opened down the middle. The chilled liquid inside came gushing out, and vast amounts of cold air filled the surroundings. The frost mist that had dispersed when the door opened began to gather once more.

"Want to talk, Subject Zero?" Angel's voice echoed through the silent space.
Not long after his words fell, a voice with an obvious mechanical texture came from X0's mouth. "Confirmed. Authorization below 99. No soul imprint. Target classified as intruder. Threat level provisionally set at Level 3. Execution result: elimination."
Listening to its voice and looking into those sinister eyes devoid of even the slightest emotional ripple, Angel understood that communication was basically impossible.
