In the Mirror Realm, there was no concept of swaddling clothes. Perhaps other Mirror Realms in the Mirror World had them, but this particular Mirror Realm did not.
However, that did not mean Laplace did not know about swaddling clothes.
Too many reflections drifted through the Empty Mirror Sea, and there was no shortage of scenes from ordinary households. Naturally, swaddled infants were not uncommon.
Laplace studied the mural amid the shifting light and shadows with great seriousness, pondering for a long while.
When Angel had first called it swaddling clothes, she had not made that connection from the mural. But as time passed, the concept of swaddling clothes grew ever clearer in her mind. When she looked at the mural again, it seemed... there really was the outline of swaddling clothes there.

But once an astrologer earnestly explained it to you, connected those points, and added a little imagination of their own, the image of the constellation immediately became three-dimensional.
The shifting light and shadow before them were the same. Before it had been pointed out, it did not seem to resemble anything.
But once the concept of "swaddling clothes" existed in her mind, she could no longer see any other image in those lights and shadows. No matter where she looked from, no matter which moment in time she viewed it from, it was swaddling clothes.
Laplace did not believe this was due to the shackles of her own thoughts. Since all she could imagine now was swaddling clothes, perhaps Angel had truly been right. This was a pattern of swaddling clothes.
But why would a mural of swaddling
