Laplace is unusually favored by the Daytime Mirror Domain's will, though the will is not intelligent and acts through subtle influence rather than direct commands. Despite this apparent favor, Laplace has repeatedly acted independently of the Mirror World's will. She declined to name the newly formed Dream Crystal Plain—an act which could have been interpreted as claiming it—and preserved the Sweet Dream by giving it to the Sage Dominator and helping establish the Reflection Space to contain it. 2884

When Angel offered her control of the Dream Crystal Plain, Laplace refused, judging its barren state uninteresting and herself unsuited to developing its potential.
