"Then what? I asked you to explain the basis for every condition. Though I don't entirely agree with your reasons for the first three, I can reluctantly accept them. What about the last condition? Why do you need an item with 'extremely powerful' offensive capabilities?"
Laplace looked at Angel and continued, "If all you're doing is dragging an inanimate object into the Dream Realm, what use is something with powerful offensive capabilities?"
Having offensive capabilities meant combat was required.
Yet in everything Angel had said, there had been no mention of any place where combat would be needed.
Moreover, although Laplace had never been to the Dream Realm, he knew it was enormous and impossible to locate within. That was also why the Dream Conch, a mysterious object, was considered something as useless as chicken ribs: once you entered the Dream Realm, you would never find it again.
Since any inanimate object, once pulled into the Dream Realm, would be completely lost, an extraordinary item with offensive capabilities was no different from an ordinary object without any means of attack.
Then what was Angel's purpose in wanting something with powerful offensive capabilities?
Angel had tried his best to explain all the other questions, but after pondering this one for a long while, he said, "There is a basis for setting this condition as well. It's just that I can't explain it yet. But if my research succeeds in the end, I believe you'll understand even without my explanation."
"If it fails, then even an explanation would be meaningless."
Laplace said flatly, "You simply don't want to explain."
After all, what Angel had just said could have applied to any of the previous conditions. Yet he had chosen to say it now, which meant he did not want to explain this
