After playing an entrance tune, Luigi stepped out from the prism in the sky and drifted gracefully down.
Luigi was dressed the same as last time: a grass-green robe, a golden harp in his hands, and an elegant flat hat.
The only difference was that last time, he had worn a mask made by Old Stone, concealing his face. This time, without the mask, his true appearance was visible.
Luigi was exceedingly handsome. If one ignored his attire and eyes, his face carried an intensely aggressive air, somewhat resembling Nereus, Dongse's disciple. In Jon's words, he possessed a countenance as handsome as a sun god's.
Yet that aggressive face was paired with a pair of gentle, water-soft eyes, creating a faint sense of dissonance.
As Angel gazed into Luigi's eyes, Luigi had already descended onto the treetop.
"O astonishing Riddler, why do you keep staring into my eyes? Do you intend to make my eyes another maze to bewilder you?" Luigi sang out to Angel.
Although Angel did not know why Luigi called him a "Riddler," the meaning behind his words was easy enough to understand.
Angel withdrew his gaze and softly praised, "I simply thought your eyes were beautiful."
Luigi smiled. "Thank you for the compliment. I would have liked to praise your eyes as well, but regrettably, all I saw was a patch of false mist."
Angel: "..." He had merely changed his iris color with illusion. An illusion was an illusion—why call it false mist?
At that moment, Laplace spoke from beside him. "Luigi, enough idle chatter. Take it out."
Luigi raised his harp, lightly plucking the strings. Beautiful notes spilled forth.
