Angel cast a distant glance at Hot Gold City.
At first glance, amid the vast galaxy formed of shattered starlight, it looked tiny. But when compared with the endlessly shattering mirrors around it and the flowing, shifting galaxy, its ever-unchanging Dome seemed remarkably resilient.
Like sturdy grass in a gale, clinging desperately to the earth, unwilling to be carried away by the wind.
"Since this place is so dangerous, why would settlements like the Hundred Dragons Divine Kingdom and Hot Gold City stand here...?"
Laplace said blandly, "You should be able to guess."
"Aggregation Energy?"
Laplace nodded. "The birth and death of mirror surfaces is indeed dangerous, but every time a mirror shatters, it releases a portion of Aggregation Energy."
Hearing that, Angel could more or less piece together the story.
Each time a mirror shattered, it released Aggregation Energy. And here, within this galaxy, there were countless shattered mirrors, endlessly and without cease. One could imagine just how terrifying the amount of Aggregation Energy released every second must be.
And for creatures in the mirror, absorbing Aggregation Energy was one of the necessary conditions for becoming stronger.
Thus, no matter how dangerous this place was, there would always be mirror creatures trying every means possible to gain a foothold here.
Such as Hot Gold City, and such as the Hundred Dragons Divine Kingdom.
"There should be more than one way for Aggregation Energy to come into being, right?" Angel asked.
"Of course. As long as a mirror reflects the outside world, Aggregation Energy will be produced. It is simply generated far more slowly than when mirrors shatter. Also... the Empty Mirror Sea is full of Aggregation Energy as well."
Angel was not surprised that the Empty Mirror Sea contained Aggregation Energy. If it did not, would Laplace's true body
