Day Mirror Domain, Mirror Corridor.
This time, Angel did not have to wait long. Before even five minutes had passed, Laplace appeared in the corridor.
"Heart Space can't withstand the tides?" Angel looked at Laplace.
He could read nothing from Laplace's expression, but the fact that she had returned so quickly indicated that this test had ended fast.
Judging by what had happened before, an ending this swift basically meant that the test results had not been ideal.
Angel had already prepared himself for Heart Space to fail against the tides, and for its solidity to suffer wear.
Yet, to his surprise, Laplace shook her head. "No. The result was far, far better than I imagined."
The repeated "far" was enough to show how satisfied Laplace was with the test results.
"So Heart Space really can withstand the tides?" Angel's eyes suddenly lit up.
Laplace nodded. "It can, but only in its most solid structure can it resist the tides' assault. Expand it even a little, and the structure becomes unstable, liable to collapse at any moment."
"But even this result is already very good."
In other words, the original thousand-meter length and width inside the heart could remain anchored in the Empty Mirror Sea.
It sounded like a simple statement, yet the significance behind it was unfathomable.
Even Laplace could not help sighing as she said this. "Since the day I was born, I have never seen any Reflection Space exist within the Empty Mirror Sea... but Heart Space has done it."
This meant that, in the crisis-ridden Empty Mirror Sea, a safe zone had descended from the sky!
For Laplace, who could survive in the Empty Mirror Sea for long periods, this special quality of Heart Space might not be especially useful. But for the other ninety-nine percent
