What did Angel plan to do?
Well... he did not plan to do anything, but that did not mean he would do nothing at all.
Angel's thought was that the Vansell Family's affairs were best left for the Vansell Family itself to handle. He could serve as an intermediary to pass messages along, but it would not be appropriate for him to interfere too much.
Previously, Angel had planned to tell Aguro about the Vansell Family after he entered the Dream Crystal Plains. But now, before Aguro had entered the Dream Crystal Plains, Angel had arrived at Hot Gold City once more.
That made things much simpler. Angel did not even need to act as a messenger—he could simply let Reeves settle it himself.

If this question were put to any other member of the Vansell Family, it would not have been a problem. But Reeves was different.
Reeves seemed mild-tempered, but in truth, he was exceedingly stubborn. He had his own pride, as well as a self-respect disguised beneath inferiority.
After his death, he would rather entrust his soul to Angel than return to the Vansell Family, much less meet Black Duke. That was because he did not want to face those who cared about him with this appearance, in this form. He feared seeing disappointment in their eyes. He feared failing everyone's expectations of him... It sounded somewhat cowardly, but was it not also a manifestation of inferiority?
Yet Reeves loved his family as well.
Angel believed that if something happened to the Vansell Family, Reeves would disregard everything. Even if he had to exhaust all he had, even if he had to offer up
