While they waited for Black Earl to return, Dox never stopped prattling on, still trying to persuade Angel to let him take a look at the mysterious mirror.
However, Angel still refused.
It was not that Angel was unwilling to show it to Dox, purely because... Laplace had yet to log off from the Dream Wilderness.
Laplace seemed to have become addicted to fishing. It had been nearly a whole day, yet she showed no sign of logging off. And her login location happened to be within the mirror-space of the Unbreakable Heart Mirror.
Though Dox might not necessarily discover Laplace, what if he did?
Besides, if Dox truly discovered the space inside the mirror and saw the sleeping Laplace... by all standards of etiquette, that would be exceedingly rude.
So no matter what, Angel could not take out the Unbreakable Heart Mirror right now.
Still, though he could not show it to Dox, there was no issue with discussing the effects of the Unbreakable Heart Mirror with him.
Of course, those effects were limited to what the Unbreakable Heart Mirror could do in the material world.
Namely—durability.
Unfortunately, Angel had told the truth, but Dox did not believe him. He did not think an alchemical item carrying a mysterious aura could have an effect as simple as being sturdy.
Dox firmly believed Angel was deceiving him.
Angel did not explain either. In any case, he had truthfully stated what the Unbreakable Heart Mirror did in the material world. As for what it did in the Mirror Realm... was that something he could tell Dox?
Time slowly slipped away amid their idle conversation.
During that time, they also discussed Exus and the others, but nothing much came of it. Though each of them had their own guesses, guesses did not
