After Black Earl and Wai left, Angel let out a long breath.
He had originally prepared a whole explanation for why the Unbreakable Heart Mirror possessed only the trait of "hardness." Fortunately, Black Earl had not asked about the Unbreakable Heart Mirror's effects, which made Angel's burden much lighter.
The explanation he had prepared was not particularly airtight, either. If Black Earl had pressed the matter, Angel might have had no choice but to reveal some truths.
To that end, he had even specifically asked Laplace to make some preparations and seal off the mirror space... If Black Earl had some means of penetrating the mirror space, she could block his prying.
Now, it seemed there was no need to worry.
However, although Black Earl had left, Dox had not followed him out.
Dox was not as "tactful" as Black Earl, either. The moment Black Earl left, he immediately sidled up to Angel and said mysteriously, "Now that the outsider is gone, you can tell me. What does this mirror do? It can't just be hard, right?"

Angel really wanted to say: You're an outsider too.
But remembering that he still needed to rope Dox into being Dodolo's tool man, Angel held it in.
"You're so sure it does more than just be hard?" Angel raised a brow. "How about using Truth Spell on me and seeing whether what I say is true or false?"
