Just thinking about it, Angel felt this was an extraordinarily lavish gesture. Was the Crystal-Eyed Race really so generous? Were they truly little angels handing out benefits without asking for anything in return?
Angel did not believe it, and neither did Laplace.
That was why they had guessed that the Crystal-Eyed Race might be doing this to secretly observe powerful individuals.
But... merely observing them in secret did not seem like such a big deal. For the strong, being watched was only natural.
Yet if that was not the reason, Angel truly could not think of any other explanation.

"The key to what?" Luigi was still immersed in what had happened earlier and did not understand what Angel meant at all.
Angel said, "The Ring Fortress summoning ritual and the Crystal Pool's preassigned crystal embryos are entirely separate matters. The only thing connecting them is Kasata."
"To us, both matters carry some strange hidden tricks. Since Kasata played an important role in both, could it mean that the tricks behind them are actually one and the same
