"Nakbi has the bloodline of a deity?" Luigi stroked his chin and quietly savored the thought. As he spoke, his gaze drifted, as though he were contemplating something.
Suddenly, he spread one hand, clenched the other into a fist, and slapped them together. "Right! Didn't we discuss Behemoth before?"
"And doesn't Behemoth correspond to a deity?"
Luigi looked at Angel and Laplace, seemingly seeking their agreement.
At Luigi's reminder, Angel remembered as well.
They had previously discussed why Naksu had given himself the name "Behemoth." At the time, Laplace had mentioned a rumor.
It was said that the Druna Plane once had an ancient beast god named Behemoth.
However, this beast god called Behemoth had vanished a very, very long time ago and seemed to have fallen.
Since this had happened tens of thousands of years ago, much of the useful information had been worn away by time. Even Laplace could not verify whether it was true. So, he had merely mentioned it in passing because of the name "Behemoth." He had not truly believed that Naksu had any connection to that legendary deity.
Luigi had thought much the same at the time. He had assumed the names merely happened to coincide and had not given it much further thought.
But now, Little Red had clearly stated that there was something unusual about Nakbi's bloodline, and that it was suspected to be the bloodline of a deity.
That left Luigi no choice but to think more deeply.
Behemoth was the name of a beast god from the Druna Plane. Naksu had inexplicably named himself "Behemoth." Behemoth had disappeared tens of thousands of years ago. And now, Nakbi possessed a deity's bloodline...
