Though there were only a few possibilities, a careful analysis could roughly rule out many of them.
Take hysteria, for instance.
One person might possibly be hysterical, but the chance of an entire group falling into hysteria after seeing something was very small. Of course, mass hysteria was also possible, but it had a prerequisite: external suggestion and influence.
If such a "suggestion" truly existed, then there was undoubtedly something fishy behind this matter, making it all the more necessary to investigate.
The possibility of a mirage was also very small. A mirage required the existence of an actual "image" before it could cast a phantom from afar.
But did Dream Crystal Plain truly have "translucent undead"? At the very least, Angel had yet to discover any.
So, if Angel had to say, the greatest possibility was still that it was related to a Fairyland Instance.
"How about we go take another look?" Rabbit Girl suggested.
Angel had originally wanted to say that he could use the God's-eye view to look, but he had already investigated once before and found nothing unusual. This made him wonder whether personally examining the place might make it easier to uncover clues.
After thinking it over, Angel nodded. "Alright. Together."
This time, they did not have the whole group lead the way. They merely chose one youth to accompany them.
The youth was called Wes. They had chosen him because he was the most spirited of everyone present. After encountering the "undead in the mist," the others had all become somewhat listless—either worried or still shaken by the aftermath. Only Wes showed little fear in his expression, with curiosity taking the upper hand.
