In the high-dimensional space where the emotional module was missing, calmness and reason ruled everything.
That was why the occasional flash of inexplicable "inspiration" always seemed so abrupt.
In Angel's view, such "inspiration" might have been an unseen guidance from a higher-dimensional organ, or perhaps a secret arrangement by some unknown existence in the higher dimension?
The former was undoubtedly safe. But if it was the latter, then a question mark had to be drawn over it.
So, should he follow that inspiration and enter this glowing gate?
Angel pondered for a moment, but in the end, he did not defy the inspiration that had suddenly appeared.
Whether it was guidance from a higher-dimensional organ or an arrangement by some hidden existence, he had no way to resist it.
Moreover, in this dimension where he was utterly lost, this gate was the only place he could go.
After calm consideration, this was the only choice he could confirm.
In the end, the figure in the crimson-gold uniform vanished behind the glowing gate.
"If it is a fortunate opportunity..."
That missing frame in between might have lasted an instant, or perhaps ten thousand years.
Was it simply because he had come into contact with the Transcendent Dimension, and because the Outer Eye had served as the intermediary "person," that certain lingering traces, or some kind of "memory," left within it had been activated?
Seeing Angel shake his head, Laplace did not think much of it and merely said, "Perhaps some trait of yours corresponds to the mural?"
With that thought, Angel sank his consciousness into his mind space.
To Laplace, the gate in the mural showed no abnormalities whatsoever.
Laplace thought for a moment, then shook her head. "Forget it. These are all baseless speculations. Let's return to the practical matter.
